Enjoy this simple, decadent butternut squash recipe that’s perfect for the holidays. It’s sweet abs savory and makes the perfect side dish.

1 large butternut squash
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
Mix together the remainder of the ingredients (olive oil, butter, maple syrup, thyme leaves, cinnamon, salt, and pepper) and spread if over the squash, allowing the mixture to pool in the well of the squash.
Roast for 35-60 minutes. Half way through, re coat the squash with pooled butter mixture.
Remove when done. Serve by scooping out the flesh, and ENJOY!
