Part 3 of Asian Cooking is making these quick addictive cold sesame noodle! Sesame oil is a staple in asian cooking. The warm, nutty oil is sure to add some flavor to your meal routine. Check out this delicious vegan recipe and make it your own!

INGREDIENTS
1 medium carrot, shredded
1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeds removed and coarsely chopped
¼ cup medium scallions, thinly sliced
1 medium red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced into 1/2-inch strips
16 Oz Noodles of Choice
Optional Protein of choice
1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
2 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
1 Tsp Sambal
1 Tbsp Tahini
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
2 Tsp warm water
Garnish
Chopped cilantro
Sesame seeds
Green tops of scallions
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the noodles to the pot of boiling water and cook according to the package directions. Rinse and set aside when finished.
In a bowl add the last 6 ingredients together to create a sauce. If the mixture is too thick, add hot tap water 1 teaspoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached
In a large bowl Shred the carrots, chop the scallions, thinly slice the red bell pepper, and jalapeño. Add in the noodles and sauce. Toss until well combined. Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.
Serve at room temperature or cold.
