59 yo mom and grandma, have been on or off a diet of some type since I was 8 yrs old. I have been on Weigh Watchers, low carb, Scarsdale, Cambridge diet, Metabolife, Weigh Down Workshop, NutriSystem, Weight Loss Clinic, back to Weight Watchers with lifetime membership. I had a complete hamstring avulsion (tear) July 2016 and will always have weakness, but completed physical therapy and are always working on movement. I am not an outdoorsy person, and hate being sweaty, so motivation to go outside is low. I love playing with grandchildren and being active, though.

Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist practicing as an Integrative Nutritionist with the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. Prior to this, she held various positions within dietetics, including food service, clinical dietetics and management. She has a Masters degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and specialty training in weight management and food sensitivities. As an nutritionist, Rachel uses "a food as medicine" approach to help people achieve improved health.
