Studies show similar results for people engaging in a 30 minute HIIT work (3 times per week) as compared to a person jogging on the treadmill for an hour. Kate is trained through the Wellcoaches program and is a nationally board certified health and wellness coach and a certified yoga instructor. Kate has been working in Integrative Health since 1998 when she worked at the Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Kate also completed programs for holistic cancer coaching and yoga and cancer. As part of respective research studies funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health, Kate trained hypertensive research subjects in the areas of Mindfulness and the Relaxation Response. Kate has a background in education and yoga, which she has found especially useful in dispersing health and wellness information. Kate brings to her clients a non-judgmental and authentic listening style and a belief that all have the ability to reach their wellness goals. Her specialties include personal growth, finding balance, healthy eating, and stress reduction.
Patty received her bachelor's degree in human performance and fitness from North Dakota State University and participated in the master's degree program in exercise physiology, with an emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation from St. Cloud State University. Patty has clinical experience working with a wide variety of individuals including cardiac rehabilitation patients and individuals with various neurological disorders. She currently assists LiveWell Fitness Center members and Take Action Weight Management Program participants with exercise programming recommendations. Patty is certified as a Stott Pilates instructor. Patty is available for exercise physiology consultations, fitness assessments, personal training appointments and Pilates reformer sessions.
Diane is a guest presenter specializing in group exercise instruction. She has been certified by the ACE organization since 1989, and has an exceptional background which has equipped her to teach a wide variety of formats over the past 30 years. She is a master instructor who has provided classes for a number of popular fitness facilities and for private groups. She enjoys teaching classes such as Cardio Kickboxing, TCX, Barbell Strength, Step, Strike, Kettlebells, Kombine, Zumba and Ringside, to name a few. Diane�s classes are extremely popular as they are known for being fun, engaging and easy-to-follow. She enjoys delivering her classes in a manner that anyone, from beginner to intermediate, can attend together. She takes great joy in helping participants achieve their fitness goals in a manner that is enjoyable and rewarding.
