Understanding our Personality through the Enneagram
Katie Oxley
Spiritual Care
Recorded:
Aug 27, 2020 at 01:30 pm EST
Audience: Employees that interface with patients, families, and other staff. Content: Personal Growth Self-awareness is key to effectively working with others. Self-awareness also opens up space within as it reduces stress and anxiety. The space helps us to be more creative, imaginative, and feel more alive. The Enneagram is a centuries old tool that helps us understand our personality type, helps us understand why and when we are stressed, and gives us clues in how to learn and grow.

Living Intentionally Through Three Gifts
Deanna Conrad
Wellness Talks
Recorded:
Aug 20, 2020 at 01:30 pm EST
Audience: All Employees Content: Spiritual Care What if we lived with the end in mind? As Chaplains, we often encourage family members to offer their dying loved one three gifts - saying thank you, I love you, and offering words of forgiveness or asking for forgiveness if the timing is right. During this seminar we will explore these gifts further and discuss how they can be woven into our daily life to improve relationships and to help us live each day intentionally.

Resilient Caregiving and Leadership
Joel Jueckstock, Ph.D., M.Div.
Spiritual Care
Recorded:
Jul 23, 2020 at 01:30 pm EST
Audience: All care-givers Content: Personal Growth A leading cause of stress and burnout is not overworking; rather, it's getting stuck in the problems of other people. Central to Bowen's family systems theory is the concept of differentiation, or the ability of a person to maintain a strong sense of "self" within a system (i.e., family, organization, etc.). A well-differentiated person is able to resist the lure of emotional triangles, which causes systems to mature by influencing others to take responsibility for themselves. In this class, you will have opportunity to develop skills and awareness to be more resilient as a caregiver and leader in your context.
