Ingredients
1 egg beaten
¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 pound uncooked ground protein turkey or beyond ground beef
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt and black pepper
½ cup crumbled feta cheese or violife for df
1 tablespoons lemon zest
Tomato Olive relish
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 cup tomato, finely chopped
1/2 cup cucumber, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped pitted kalamata or ripe olives
Directions
1. In a small bowl stir together white wine vinegar, olive oil, and the seasoning. Stir in tomato, cucumber, and kalamata or ripe olives. Makes about 1-1/3 cups.
2. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, feta, zest, seasonings and ground meat to a large bowl. Mix until incorporated. Form 4 Pattie’s.
3. In a flat non stick pan add some oil. Add the burgers and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes until brown. Flip and do the same on the other side.
4. Remove and serve with relish on top. Optional to serve it with buns.
