Join us for a session of Chair Yoga. Yoga has been shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility and for those who want to practice yoga at their workplace.
Audience: All Employees Content: Spiritual Care What if we lived with the end in mind? As a Chaplains we often encourage family members to offer their dying loved one three gifts -- saying thank you, I love you, and offering words of forgiveness or asking for forgiveness if the timing is right. During this seminar we will explore these gifts further and discuss how they can be woven into our daily life to improve relationships and to help us live each day intentionally.
Take Action Program for Weight Management is a highly successful 12-week program for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. The program combines a personalized fitness profile with a body composition measurement, personal exercise training session, nutrition consultation with a resting metabolism measurement and an integrative health and wellness coaching session. Twelve weekly group sessions cover topics including nutrition, fitness and overall wellness. A comprehensive Take Action manual is provided for ongoing reference.

The Mindfulness Training program is designed to help participants recover a calm, stable mind and lasting contentment even in the face of difficulty. This four-week in-person series offers highly effective tools to help manage stress and achieve a higher state of wellbeing. Participants will learn to stabilize their minds and increase resilience through mindfulness practices such as meditation and yoga. Cost of $50* if course is completed successfully.
