Audience: All Employees Content: Spiritual Care What if we lived with the end in mind? As a Chaplains we often encourage family members to offer their dying loved one three gifts -- saying thank you, I love you, and offering words of forgiveness or asking for forgiveness if the timing is right. During this seminar we will explore these gifts further and discuss how they can be woven into our daily life to improve relationships and to help us live each day intentionally.

Resilient Life
Start: Oct 22, 2019 at 01:00 pm EDT
Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of significant sources of stress -- such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences. Resilience is not a trait that people either have or do not have-we all have aspects of resilience. The behaviors, thoughts and actions that build resilience can be learned and developed in anyone. In this 6-week series, we'll practice the skills proven to help build resilience of mind, body and spirit. Skills such as mindfulness, optimal nutrition, movement and cultivating a healthy relationship with self and others will be taught and practiced in class. By practicing these skills regularly, you can strengthen your ability to bounce back from adversity and to grow and thrive in your professional and personal life.
