Description Join us for a session of Chair Yoga. Yoga has been shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. Join us for a guided meditation from one of PGIHH's coaching staff members. You may join and leave any time during the scheduled meditation to suit your schedule. Meditations will include offerings such as guided imagery, mindfulness meditation, body scan and loving kindness.
Take Action Program for Weight Management is a highly successful 12-week program for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. The program combines a personalized fitness profile with a body composition measurement, personal exercise training session, nutrition consultation with a resting metabolism measurement and an integrative health and wellness coaching session. Twelve weekly group sessions cover topics including nutrition, fitness and overall wellness. A comprehensive Take Action manual is provided for ongoing reference. Prerequisites: There are 4 intake appointments to complete before class begins. These are 1:1 in-person sessions and are included in the package price. **Due to the COVID pandemic these appointment will be done via Zoom virtual meeting or phone until further notice** 1. Fitness Profile (60 min) 2. Personal Training (60 min) 3. Nutrition consultation with metabolism test (60 min)**we are not currently doing the metabolism testing** 4. Wellness Coaching (60 min) Additional Information: Registration closes 1 week before class starts. **Allina employees must attend 10 of the 12 online classes LIVE to receive Wellbeing points and get the full discount for the class The 4 intake appointments are done via Zoom virtual meeting or phone. Mental wellbeing includes our emotional, psychological as well as our social wellbeing and it helps determine how we relate to others and manage our stress. Many factors contribute to our mental wellbeing such as family history, biological factors and life experiences such as trauma. This webinar will cover a broad overview of mental wellbeing issues and will include ideas about how to build a strong support system and what resources are available.

Spiritual pain however can be and often is a symptom of physical and psychological pain. Feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, shame, and depression are common to those suffering from real or perceived loss. This can occur when a person's beliefs/worldview are in conflict with what they are going through. Research suggests people with a more realistic worldview/belief system who take into account both beauty and suffering may lead lives that are more meaningful and peaceful. This course will survey research and practices that can help you navigate beliefs and ideas that may be preventing you from experiencing the richness of the spiritual self and life as a whole.

Level: All Levels This class is a muscle building and conditioning class focusing on high repetitions and light weight. Exercises will utilize a mixture of dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight to sculpt and define arms, back, legs and glutes. Classes will also contain an intensive abdominal/core component.
