Resilient Life
Start: Jul 16, 2019 at 12:30 pm EDT
THIS CLASS IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE ONLY. Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of significant sources of stress -- such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences. Resilience is not a trait that people either have or do not have-we all have aspects of resilience. The behaviors, thoughts and actions that build resilience can be learned and developed in anyone. In this 6-week series, we'll practice the skills proven to help build resilience of mind, body and spirit. Skills such as mindfulness, optimal nutrition, movement and cultivating a healthy relationship w/ self and others will be taught and practiced in class. By practicing these skills regularly, you can strengthen your ability to bounce back from adversity and to grow and thrive in your professional and personal life. Points are awarded within 4 weeks of completion. PLEASE NOTE: PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND 5 OUT OF 6 SESSIONS LIVE TO EARN THE BE FIT PROGRAM POINTS. Class is non-refundable once the course has started.

All participants must give a minimum 7-day notice prior to the first class session to withdraw from the program. This allows us the opportunity to offer your seat to another participant. No refunds will be given if you cancel your registration less than 7 days before the first class session, and you will not be allowed to transfer your registration fee to a future class. Once your group session has begun, you may not switch to another group. Due to confidentiality concerns, you will not be able to attend another group's sessions for makeup dates. If you are currently being treated for active substance abuse, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or other psychiatric issues, please seek counsel from your health care provider as to whether or not this program is right for you at this time.
