Kate is trained through the Wellcoaches program and is a nationally board certified health and wellness coach and a certified yoga instructor. Kate has been working in Integrative Health since 1998 when she worked at the Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Kate also completed programs for holistic cancer coaching and yoga and cancer. Setting boundaries is part of self-care and it turns out that in Minnesota, learning how to set boundaries is the number google search for working on self-care! How can one learn to set boundaries? In these sessions, participants will first identify values and priorities in order to set boundaries. Secondly, obstacles that hold one back from making changes will be explored. Finally, participants will learn how to communicate setting a boundary using non-violent communication skills and, consider what the possible consequences may be to setting up a boundary. Class 1: Values/needs/priorities Class 2: Immunity to change process Class 3: Non-violent communication and positive consequences.

Join us for a session of Chair Yoga. Yoga has been shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly. Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. It is beneficial for people with limited mobility and for those who want to practice yoga at their workplace.
Please join us for a 3-week book club in which we will read and share insights about Brown's book. This book offers a study on how our imperfections are what connects us with humanity. In addition, we will learn that our vulnerabilities are not weaknesses but rather reminders of how we are all in this together. Please come to the first session having read chapters 1 - 4 to discuss. You are required to purchase your own book.
